BE WATER is a charity compilation dedicated to Save The Rivers Coalition, organization operating in Poland. The aim was to start a discussion and publicize the issue of water preservation and conservation in Poland.

As of 2019, 91.6% of Polish rivers were assessed as polluted. Even though rivers still serve as a primary water source for majority of municipalities, little effort is done to preserve those resources and manage them sustainably. Through major pollutants, such as pesticide, agriculture and trash, the quality of rivers continues to decline.

The climate change isn't helping us - with little water reserves that are being poorly managed, the looming danger of limited access to water is accelerating rapidly. We'd like to raise this issue and help citizens pressurize local councils and make them put the responsibility of preserving water resources on their agenda as a priority issue.

Save The Rivers Coaltion (Koalicja Ratujmy Rzeki) brings together organizations which protect Poland's rivers, streams and wetlands, as well as scientists, local authorities and institutions for whom the fate of Polish rivers and ecosystems is important. The motive for its creation were the implemented and planned projects making Polish rivers and natural water resources more limited, exploited and altered - despite Poland's membership in the EU and agreement to comply with the Water Framework Directive.

The Coalition now declares to hope that their single voice will be better head and that they can manage to persuade those in charge to stop degrading Poland's water resources.

We have decided to support this organization through our artistic efforts, as the idea of water preservation is deep down a part of our strong belief that no art could be created on a lifeless planet.

Musically wise, we have reached out with an open call to create a track that reflects the title of the complilation - BE WATER. We have managed to gather 25 tracks created by artists from Poland and beyond, creating a genre-diverse release. The sounds compilation explores are deeply experimental, basing on water samples or referring to water in its lyrics and keeping the main theme consistent.
